The client's vision for the space is to create a striking entrance with a dark, moody, and dramatic ambiance, drawing people towards the kitchen area for socialising and bonding—it truly embodies the heart of the house!
As you step into the main entrance, your eyes are immediately captivated by the imposing presence of island. This massive centerpiece sets the tone for the entire space, exuding sophistication and style. Strategically placed, a wine cooler commands attention, inviting guests to indulge in the luxurious atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
Dramatic & powerful
Functionality meets elegance with this impressive island, which features a Bora system with an integrated hood for seamless cooking experiences. Surrounding the island, drawers and pullouts are meticulously incorporated to enhance practicality and ensure every inch of the space is utilised efficiently. This meticulously designed kitchen not only captivates with its aesthetic appeal but also promises a seamless blend of form and function, making it the perfect setting for memorable gatherings and meaningful moments.
To maintain consistency and symmetry in the design, we ensured that the island's conclusion echoed its initial impact. Thus, we crafted a Laurent Dekton mono-bloc with three-sided waterfalls and claddings in a 4 cm look, seamlessly joining them to create a cohesive stone block. This meticulous approach resulted in a dramatic effect, emphasising the island's stature and making it a focal point of the space. To elevate its allure further, we integrated a glass cabinet from SieMatic's SLX collection in Golden Bronze with a mirror finish, adding a touch of glamour to this exquisite piece of art.
On the opposite side, we optimised functionality by organising various kitchen functions. Beginning with a set of two cabinets housing a fridge with a freezer compartment, a coffee machine, and an oven featuring a steam function from Miele. Continuing along, three sets of 60 cm cabinets accommodate water equipment and a bin system, all elegantly veneered in the finest hazel brown finish. This thoughtful arrangement ensures both aesthetic appeal and practical convenience, enhancing the overall functionality of the kitchen space.
In keeping with the glamorous theme, two stunning SLX high-glass cabinets, finished in Gold Bronze with a mirror effect, serve as a luxurious endpoint to the kitchen area. These cabinets not only add a touch of sophistication but also act as a bridge between the kitchen and the dining area. Their clear glass sides and built-in hanging furniture in Veneer, illuminated to showcase the client's accessories, create a captivating transition, seamlessly connecting the two spaces while maintaining the overall cohesive design.
